I have overcome so many hardships in life, including the loss of my only child.

Energy sound healing has provided me a way to understand life more clearly and it also allows me to support and guide others to do the same. I have always found fulfillment in helping others by serving on boards, volunteering or just stepping up when an opportunity presents itself.

Becoming a practitioner has allowed me to discover ways of helping people that I could not have possibly imagined before. I’ve found my true purpose in life through energy sound healing.

I have always had this feeling inside of me that my true purpose in life was to help people, but on a deeper level than I ever knew how. After being introduced to energy sound healing, and experiencing the amazing impact it had not only on myself, but on those that I love, I knew that this was what I was meant to do. Now, as a practitioner, I have the opportunity to help people rediscover the inner peace and joy that life has to offer each of us every day.

My exposure to energy sound healing began with my own personal experience while helping a close family member who was being bullied in school. This experience has left me with a deep need to help others learn how to heal naturally. There is no better joy than helping people around me go to levels higher than they ever thought they could! Now as a practitioner making one person smile can change the world... maybe not the whole world, but their world. 

As a survivor of sexual abuse as a child, I experienced the alone feeling and helplessness of thinking there wasn’t anyone I could open up to. My situation created many physical issues early in life. Chronic high anxiety and stress lead to debilitating digestive issues in my teenage and early adult years. I didn’t fully connect the dots, that my emotional traumas were linked to my physical issues until five years ago. A friend had referred me to Rediscover Yourself for a completely separate reason. Spirit works in mysterious ways! Sound Therapy was the key that allowed me to release, heal, and finally speak about my childhood abuse. Now as a Practitioner, I found that I am drawn to helping others, work through a variety of issues of their own and reclaim the life they were meant to live!

My journey as a client at Rediscover Yourself led me to be a practitioner. As a former nursing student, I realized true medicine is the medicine of frequencies. If you're serious about changing your life, I'm here to help you attain your dreams and become the best version of yourself.

 

 

I am thrilled to be able to bring this modernized therapy technique taught at Rediscover Yourself, Int. to the Chicago-land area as Healing Waves Sound Therapy. I was guided by Spirit, the Universe, God, to make a career change and become a healer. After experiencing a session of sound healing from Rediscover Yourself, int, everything about it rang true to me. This was it. This is how I will assist people to liberate themselves from negative emotional energy and become whole once again.   

As a young adult holding down a very demanding schedule,I have found energy sound healing to be a resource to turn to when encountering emotions such as fear, stress, anxiety, social pressure, and even acne. I am inspired to make life's path easier for others my age and to help individuals of every age, release the emotions that may be causing them illness and are holding them back from living life to its fullest potential.

My interest in alternative health began very early on in my career as a salon owner and stylist. Throughout my journey, guests share many challenges they encounter that seem to be relational to their health and well being. I have always wanted to offer more and I knew there had to be another way to touch lives inwardly besides outwardly.

It was when my father was diagnosed with cancer that I became a sponge for seeking other alternatives other than modern medicines. I researched books that opened my eyes up to dozens of possibilities, and I sought out healers. This path in life is beautiful for those willing to have an open mind for how really amazing the human body is.

I now consider myself very fortunate to have a life of being open to alternative modalities of healing. “Healers attract healers” was the wisdom shared with me, and that certainly has held true. The power to help anyone move from a negative state of mind and body to finding peace is my passion.

We all have a calling in life, some people know their dreams early on and follow them, others, it takes life experiences and time for the Universe to show them what they are meant to do. Through what I thought was a coincidence, turned out to be fate. I was trained in Reiki by a personal friend, and as I practiced my energy work, I felt a calling to heal. I was introduced to Bonnie and Steve, and instantly felt a connection to the energy work they do. I kept coming back to the experience I had at Rediscover Yourself. After experiencing significant traumas in my life, I turned to energy clearing modalities for personal healing. I am so grateful and appreciative to all who have helped and guided me along the way. Thanks to energy sound healing I am living a healthier, more balanced, fulfilled life. As an Energy Sound Practitioner, I provide a natural and safe way to help others on their journeys to serenity. I’m excited to be practicing energy sound healing in the Madison area. I’m looking forward to working with you to start clearing your path to living your best life easier, and more positively!

I have always been on a path to help care for people. Most recently I have worked for 10 years as a massage therapist and an EMS first responder.  I have referred many people to Rediscover Yourself and watched them all benefit from their sessions. After a terrible loss of my own, I received sessions myself. That is when I knew I had to learn this to help more people.

My journey to becoming an energy sound Practitioner is similar to others.  Choices I had made in my life because of negative emotions caused a great deal of hurt and pain to myself and others.  While I had accepted the responsibilities of my actions, I still needed help eliminating these limiting negative emotions; just by chance, a path leads to Bonnie and Steve.  Through energy sound healing I discovered a natural way to release negative emotions and energy to really allow me to get back to who I really am. 

 I know firsthand change is possible if you do it for the right reasons – for yourself!  I am proud of my story – I hope it will inspire others to choose to take that first step to health and happiness.

We all walk through this path called life and along the way we have bumps and bruises from negative life events.  I know first-hand as my life journey has had many obstacles in the road.  Those life experiences, it has brought me to a deeper empathetic and compassionate level for helping others on their journey. The true meaning of anxiety was foreign to me until I experienced my first panic attack. I felt helpless as one attack turned into what was likely hundreds, and resulted in years of battle with my own mind. In an attempt to better understand and let go of this anxiety, I experimented with all types of alternative healing methods. I have always had a deep empathy and caring for people going through life's challenging situations. I came across Sound Healing Therapy a few years back when I didn't know where to turn in life as I was completely mentally exhausted. After feeling the power behind such a healing opportunity I knew that I wanted to become a Practitioner and share this with everyone I could. Life experiences create emotions; negative or positive and my intention is to help people find their own inner peace again.

I have overcome a number of obstacles in my journey before finding my path to helping others. Overcoming addictions was a hard battle but in 2007 I won, mostly because I never gave up. The experiences that I learned have taught me how to successfully deal with obstacles that so many people face today. Meditation has showed me the role vibration and specific frequencies play in the healing process. When using energy sound healing, we can clear the negative emotions that cause the majority of our problems. I would be honored to earn your trust and help you become better than you ever thought possible.

As a Massage Therapist of over 20 years, I am always looking at adding to my toolbox of healing.  Energy healing was not something I practiced.

It was in fact a longtime client of mine who introduced me to Rediscover Yourself and Sound Therapy.  During one of her standing appointments, I noticed her body was reading, and responding differently than it had in past massage sessions.  When chatting with her she told me about Sound Therapy, and my interest was peaked.

Looking to schedule an appointment for myself, I came across the “Learn Sound Therapy” section and submitted an inquiry. I was so impressed and without ever having a session myself, I committed to the process.

Fast forward a few months.  I found myself sitting in training still unsure of what I was really in for.  It wasn’t until I received my first session during training that I could really connect the dots and experience the beauty of Sound Therapy.

My recent loss had created many emotions that had been buried in my body, and the pain it caused left me with physical pain in my heart.   Though nothing was physically wrong with my heart, my doctor told me it was called Broken Heart Syndrome; something I had no idea existed.  The first couple of sessions were peeling away at the emotions to lessen that burden on my mind and my body, and I could notice a difference.

Each of us carries our own cross and the emotional toll it takes on us along the way is real.  My decision to become trained in Sound Therapy was to integrate it into my existing massage practice, and am excited to share this therapy with everyone I know.

On my journey of self-realization and truth, I now understand and know that True Healing is healing on all five levels of ourselves: mentally, emotionally, physically, subconsciously, and spiritually. As we gain and apply our knowledge to understand our experiences, we get to learn and know and create wisdom for ourselves. Through this process, we increase our awareness and move along our life path more easily. This Energy Sound Healing process is the perfect modality to clean up our mental-emotional body by releasing and unblocking disharmonies and making it easier for the other aspects of ourselves to heal. I have experienced this in my own life, in each of my children’s lives, and in all my client’s lives too.

 

I was a broken soul for most of my life. After being abused as a child, I felt guilty, ashamed, and unworthy for most of my life. You see, sometimes God has to break you to wake you so you find your real purpose. Mine is showing others that you can overcome anything with faith and desire.
